How to turn off the chime on my Timex 692-T5J581 1440 Sports?
I have a Timex T5J581 1440 watch. I don't know how to turn off the hourly CHIME. My SET button is in the TOP LEFT. my START/STOP is in the TOP RIGHT. my BOTTOM LEFT is MODE. my BOTTOM LEFT is the little indiglo. Please help!!! This watch gets me in trouble at school.
I have the same watch, haha the chime is soo annoying!! I was online for a good 45 min looking for answers on how to shut up the watch, until finally in frustration I pressed all 4 buttons at once. Some weird stuff came on the screen, and boom, the watch was reset...without the chimer. Then I just put in the right time & date and now its perfect. Try that.
