what to look for when buying a harley?
i would like to buy a street bob style bike maybe 2-3 years old.is there anything special to consider, or watch out for?how much in canadian dollars do you figure?
In '06 the Dynas got a new 6 speed transmission, and a new cam chain/tensioner design. The oil change interval was set at 5000 miles for the trans, chaincase and engine.
Ask about the service records.
If engine work was done, find out why. If it was personal preference - your choice.
If it was needed - walk away.
Intake and exhaust mods are common. 2-3 year old bikes are all fuel injected. This means the fuel delivery must be modified also. There are different ways to accomplish this. Make sure you're ok with the way it was done. Changes could be costly.
