My watch needs tightening just a touch without taking links out?

A very nice watch. Now - When i had the watch adjusted, it was a little loose. Had 7 links taken out, and it was a little tight. Had one put back in and now its very loose. I didn't want it that tight.
Its loose to the extent is slides up and down my arm and when i shake my arm i feel it move a lot and rattle and i think im going to break it (and its too complex & nice to break)
So, one link off, and its too tight, So i need someway to tighten it a little so it stays securely - yet not to tight. Any methods that work gets the 10points.

I think you may have to buy a different type of watch band. It doesn't look like you can take out 1/2 links.
If you like your watch that much, buy a new band. Sorry. No easy solution to make your band fit.
